United Tonight! is one of the bravest new public conversations in Cleveland. United Tonight is a riveting series about the power of human perseverance in the face of adversity. As such, this daring community conversation provides a dialogue of hardship, healing, and hope by assembling incredible Clevelanders who have walked through the worst that life could throw at them – only to survive and thrive on the other side. Presented by the United Way Young Leaders and the Humanitarian Society, this four-part production is open to the public and will run quarterly through 2019.

    • HOST: Mike McIntyre – Veteran journalist and public affairs moderator, Mike is a feature writer at The Plain Dealer and host of the award-winning The Sound of Ideas at ideastream.
    • SPECIAL GUESTS:
      • Erika Port - A survivor and thriver of sexual abuse. She has volunteered at Cleveland Rape Crisis Center since 2014 and is on the Board of Ravenwood Health. She uses her experiences and knowledge to champion her goal of helping break stigmas and myths around sexual violence to support victims and to inform those who wonder about sexual violence. She believes when individuals and communities are informed, are aware, and understand, that we can dramatically reduce the rate of sexual violence and harm done to victims.
      • Kirsti Mouncey - Chief Program Officer at Cleveland Rape Crisis Center. 
      • Nancy Mendez – Vice President of Community Impact at United Way of Greater Cleveland, Nancy is a senior leader in the Cleveland nonprofit community.
