About the Event

Through this symposium, we will continue elevating the barriers that members of our community face in accessing career pathways that lead to economic mobility and ultimately to a more inclusive economy. We will highlight work already being done in each of the eight social determinants of work and welcome Dr. Jackson as our keynote speaker.

Meet Our Keynote Speaker

Dr. Angela Jackson, who coined the term Social Determinants of Work, is a Future of Work and Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) expert. As the founder of Future Forward Strategies, a labor market intelligence, design thinking, and strategy firm, Dr. Jackson has worked with entrepreneurs, Fortune 100 companies, and policymakers on the ever-changing future of work. She also serves as a lecturer on entrepreneurship in education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Dr. Jackson's keynote will focus on the necessary elements of an inclusive economy and the importance of eliminating barriers to work.
